Tillo had an obedience exam last weekend. He did perfect and passed with the highest score of his group! Way to go Tillo!
 Do I need to say more..? Tillo won his fourth CAC today, which means he is now Dutch Champion! We couldn't be more happy with and proud of our handsome boy!
We are also very happy with the write up of the judge, who was very positive about Tillo. You can find his judge report here. Tillo also managed to become BOB competing with a very nice looking bitch! Not a lot of pics were made, because Job has a shoulder injury.. but the ones made, can be found here.  This week was a busy one! Tuesday we went to Spaarnwoude to have our first coursing training with the WRA. We had to fight ourselves through some traffic jams to get there, but it was well worth it. Tillo had two perfect runs. He also met Yebo, a handsome brindle Basenji male of the same age as Tillo. After the coursing they got the chance to meet eachother off leash and they liked eachother immediately. Hopefully they will compete with eachother on the coursing field in the future! The pictures didn't turn out great, but you can find some of Tillo here. Hopefully we'll be able to get some better action shots during our next trainings.  Wednesday we had agility training. Tillo was in a good mood, he performed well. We got an invitation for an agility match in August.... We'll have to think long and hard about that! I don't know if Tillo is ready for a match already.. But it would be a nice challenge! :D
Job took some pics of this training as well. You can find them here.  Two weeks ago we had a nice meet up with Kim, Kas, Nicole and Walter in "Het Leesten". Of course we brought the dogs too! It was quite a challenge walking four intact males, but they did very well. Job made some very nice pictures, you can find them here.

 A week ago we had a nice weekend away with a part of Janneke's family. We stayed in a great hotel not too far from the beach. Officially there were no dogs allowed, but Janneke's mom called around and made sure our royal pup was welcome, not only in our room, but also in the restaurant!
The first day we spend at the beach. Tillo got to run around off leash with a lot of other dogs and had fun, fun, fun! He stayed away from the water though! No wet feet for Tillo ;) The second day we made a 35 km tour on the bicycle. Tillo proved to be in a great condition, proudly trotting next to the bicycle. The third and last day we also spend at the beach, this time Tillo was brave enough to get his toes wet. We were very lucky with the great weather we had the whole weekend! BF made some nice pic of Tillo on the beach. You can find them in his gallery. Today there was only rain and rain and rain and..... We had to come up with some indoor activities, cause Tillo wasn't planning to spend more time outside then necessary for a pee and poo :) For his next obedience diploma Tillo has to learn how to fetch.... So this was a good day to train a bit. This was the result: We also played a Nina Ottosson game "Dog Brick". I think we have to buy a new one.. cause Tillo already knows how this one works ;)  Not competing, but as spectator....
A big "Thank you" to Leen Vroegop for the picture!  The Dutch Basenji Club organized a coursing today. The weather was great and it was wonderful to see so many basenjis together. Tillo ran some perfect rounds and Job handled the camera very well, which resulted in some very nice pictures. You can view them here.
